SPORTFIVE’s perimeter advertising portfolio houses the majority of UK Football clubs from The English Premier League, English Football League, Domestic Cups, and beyond. Additionally, our rights-holder clients include an array of globally renowned organisations across sports, such as The LA Lakers, Manchester United, Scuderia Ferrari F1, INEOS Cycling, Team GB, The FA, and a roster of talent which includes Masters Champion Jon Rahm.
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Executive who is hungry to grow a career in sales and passionate about the world of sport. This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the sports industry and gain hands-on experience working with some of the biggest names in football and live events.
You’ll be a key part of SPORTFIVE’s UK Sales team, supporting efforts to sell a range of premium sports assets — including LED advertising across top-tier football, hospitality at leading venues and events, and commercial partnerships with our esteemed rights-holder clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on direct outreach, enjoys building relationships, and is ready to learn and succeed in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
AS OUR SALES EXECUTIVE – ADVERTISING & PARTNERSHIPS, YOU WILL…
- Support the sales team in identifying and securing new advertising and partnership opportunities through lead sourcing, research, and industry analysis.
- Develop relationships with prospective clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, networking events, and meetings.
- Assist in building relationships with potential LED advertising clients based in the UK across sectors including Tourism, Travel, Hotels, Airlines, Timing, Logistics, and Technology, contributing to a team effort to secure premium media partners for the English Football League, and English Premier League.
- Help create tailored proposal materials, incorporating data, insights, inventory details, and investment options, in collaboration with SPORTFIVE’s Sales Insight Support team.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of SPORTFIVE’s products and services, communicating key benefits to prospective clients.
- Research and develop category-specific contact lists and maintain accurate records of leads and interactions.
- Conduct proactive outreach to initiate conversations with new prospects and support the sales team’s engagement with strategic accounts.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities and pipeline progress during team meetings.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING…
- Some experience working within a B2B sales environment, ideally with exposure to the full sales cycle or supporting parts of it is desirable.
- Confidence in pitching, presenting, and communicating with marketing and commercial decision-makers.
- Motivation and enthusiasm for creating new sales opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Strong relationship-building skills, both with clients and internal colleagues.
- A consultative and customer-focused mindset when approaching sales conversations.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient attitude, with a willingness to take initiative.
- Curiosity and a desire to keep learning and developing new skills.
- Clear and engaging communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using sales tools and CRM systems to track activity and progress.
