Job Description:
We are seeking a Commercial Kitchen Designer to join an established firm involved in the design and installation of commercial kitchens in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £25,000 to £30,000, with an immediate start.
Your responsibilities will include producing CAD designs and estimates for commercial kitchens, working with CAD 2D and 3D Revit software, and creating various drawings using AutoCAD.
Key duties:
- Create take-offs from drawings and present them in Excel spreadsheets.
- Print drawing sets and participate in project reviews.
- Export DWF and other formats for collaboration.
- Compile data sheets for technical submissions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of company systems.
- Provide reports to your line manager as needed.
Ideal candidates will have a background in 2D/3D design within commercial kitchens, light construction, or shopfitting. Applicants should be living within a reasonable distance of Newcastle upon Tyne or be willing to relocate.
