Lecturer Chef for Professional Cookery
We are seeking a full time Lecturer to join our successful team, based at Hayes Campus. You would teach across a variety of Hospitality programmes including VRQs/NVQs in Professional Cookery from Level 1 to Level 3, and Apprenticeship Standards Level 2 Production Chef, Level 2 Commis Chef and Level 3 Chef De Partie. The section has a restaurant (Revisco) that is open to the general public.
You will need to be qualified to Level 3 in Catering/Cookery, with Assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent) with experience of teaching and assessing in the subject area, and experience of being a Chef in the Catering/Hospitality industry. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners aged 16-18. You will either possess or be willing to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification, which the College will support financially in full over the two year period of the course.
