Our client is seeking a permanent Housing Officer to join their well-established team, the successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring high-quality customer service and efficient housing management for tenants. The role is integral to delivering continuous improvements in performance, supporting the transformation of services, and fostering independent living for tenants through personalised support. This role will be based in Edinburgh but will feature some travelling and will offer the opportunity of Hybrid Working. In this role you will provide high-quality customer service to all tenants. Responding promptly to customer inquiries, addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy, whilst maintaining strong relationships with tenants. Candidates will have experience working in social housing and be able to deliver efficiently in areas such as Allocations, Void Management, ASB, Rent Arrears and some Estate Management. You will be able to manage tenant records and agreements, enable properties are maintained to a high standard and work closely with colleagues when necessary. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with senior members of staff, helping the Housing Association to meet standards set by the Scottish Housing Regulator. You will also help to support the use of digital communication between tenants and the Housing Association, promoting the use of digital tools and providing guidance. Candidates will have experience in housing management, strong customer service skills and have the ability to work effectively with a range of customers. This role will demand the ability to work independently and, in a team, so candidates will need to be comfortable in both occurrences. This position requires some driving between properties, therefore a Driving License and access to a car is required.
