Working Style: In this full-time role, you\’ll be based in the Borough three days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you\’re working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you\’ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents\’ lives.

What you\’ll be doing:

In this role, you\’ll help monitor and evaluate the support provided to those affected by the Grenfell tragedy. You\’ll work with both quantitative and qualitative data to build clear, meaningful reports that speak to a wide range of audiences – from internal teams and partners, to resident steering groups and the Independent Scrutiny Function.

Using Power BI, you\’ll design and develop reporting tools that go beyond the numbers – giving visibility to progress, identifying where we can do better, and helping others understand the impact of our work. You\’ll also lead projects to improve data quality, respond to Freedom of Information requests, and contribute to our annual impact evaluation.

Your work will directly influence how support is delivered, how decisions are made, and how we remain accountable to the community.

What you\’ll bring:

You\’ll bring advanced analytical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with experience turning complex data into insights that drive action. You know how to design dashboards and reports that communicate clearly to different audiences, and work sensitively in environments where accuracy, tone, and transparency are crucial.

You\’re confident working independently, solving problems creatively, and using data to support change—even with incomplete or evolving information. You also understand data protection and confidentiality, especially in contexts involving trauma and public scrutiny.

Above all, you\’ll bring care and commitment to your work, believing in the power of data to do good.

Why join us:

At RBKC, we\’re invested in our people, communities, and future. This 12-month maternity cover role is within a compassionate, collaborative team focused on meaningful progress.

You\’ll be supported to develop your skills, access training, and grow your impact—while contributing to one of the Council\’s top priorities: learning from Grenfell and embedding those lessons into our work.

The work is complex, expectations are high, but so is the value of what you\’ll help us achieve.
