This is a Field based role with extensive travel. Purpose of the role To drive alignment and delivery of the People and Company strategy, by using data and insights to create tactical, innovative, and commercial people solutions executed by supportive and challenging business partnering relationships. In this role you can expect to: Partner and maintain strong relationships with Senior Leadership to: Identify talent at all levels, ensuring appropriate development plans are in place. Utilise Company programmes, internal resources and external apprenticeships to develop our colleagues, with a focus on quality over volume. Influence, coach and challenge business leaders to support both high and poor performers through a leadership approach aligned to our culture Create robust succession plans that are aligned to anticipated business growth and will deliver a sustainable workforce Informed by data and analysis, collaborate with HR Specialists to develop future proof recruitment, development, pay and benefits plans to drive retention Use insights to identity and create commercial solutions to deliver key people metrics including but not limited to LTO, absence, Store contract and profiles Support Specialist and Operational HR teams to provide leaders with the resources, knowledge, and skills they need to effectively manage their teams, resulting in a stronger, more autonomous management structure Be a point of escalation for HR case management advice; adhering to relevant policy and legislative requirements whilst maintaining a commercial edge and supporting them to ensure all advice is appropriate for the environment. Collaborate with business leaders and specialists on any business change impacting people to deliver maximum retention and engagement Act as the catalyst to drive employee engagement People Plan In all aspects, working collaboratively with the central / specialists create, support, provide feedback and embed actions and measures working towards the overall business goal of being The Best Place to Work You should apply if you: Have an accurate understanding of current legislative requirements affecting people. Are highly skilled collaborative and cross functional capabilities. Have good business acumen and commercial awareness and the ability to identify key issues and risks before they arise. Have excellent planning and organisation skills Have a high level of personal and professional credibility and integrity at senior level. Have experience in the Retail Industry or other fast paced environments. Have proven HR Business Partner experience Are confident and experienced in digitally operated business.
