Technology Engineer (CCTV/ANPR) The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an engineer to conduct maintenance and repair of roadside technologies such as cameras, message signs and detectors. You will work in a field-based capacity covering assets deployed around the Greater Glasgow area (with occasional trips to Northern England), conducting reactive and preventative maintenance activities as well as calibration and commissioning. I am happy to speak to individuals coming from backgrounds in telecoms, CCTV/ANPR, security and alarms systems with some electrical knowledge/qualifications, particularly if you have any knowledge or interest in LAN and WAN Networks and IP Configuration and willingness to work on roadside technology. Skills and Experience: * Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer * Experience of fault finding equipment at component level * Hands on experience with CCTV, ANPR or roadside technology (highly desirable) * Networking knowledge or certifications (CCNA/Comp TIA, etc.) (desirable) * Current G39, HERS8, NRSWA, NHSS8 Qualification (highly desirable) * Able to undertake planned night work and weekend working (1 in 4) * Full UK drivers licence Location: Home-based in the Greater Glasgow area Earnings: £34,000 to £38,000 per year (+ vehicle + regular overtime) Please contact Simon here at ISR to learn more about our client based in the Glasgow area leading the way in developing the next-generation of transport mobility through innovation and transformational technology?
