Job Description

Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Chief Accountant. The council is planning ahead for a September or October start, making this an ideal opportunity for someone approaching the end of their current contract or with a longer notice period.

We are looking for a CCAB or CIMA-qualified accountant with strong technical expertise, particularly in leading the preparation of the Statement of Accounts and managing the year-end close process.
