Maintenance Manager

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000

Shift: Monday – Friday

Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment, driving continuous improvement, and leading a team of engineers to deliver world-class performance.

Skills required for the Maintenance Manager:

  • Proven leadership in a maintenance or engineering management role (ideally in a manufacturing)
  • Ability to develop and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and contractor relationships
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience in managing projects and upgrades to plant or equipment
  • Skilled in coaching, motivating, and developing a multi-skilled engineering team
