Health Care Assistant Support Worker in Lincoln

We are currently looking for Full time day and nightsComplex Care Support Workers to support a young male with a severe brain injury in the Lincoln area, living in a family home. This is a 2:1 package requiring compassionate, consistent support from skilled individuals to promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

This package involves supporting an individual with very complex physical health needs and palliative care requirements. The client has severe quadriplegia, progressive respiratory failure requiring ventilation support, epilepsy, and a gastrostomy for nutrition and medication. You will be providing hands-on support including repositioning, personal care, respiratory monitoring, and seizure management, while following clear escalation protocols.

The applicant must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 6 months recent experience in a healthcare or support role within the UK

• Experience with PEG/gastrostomy feeding, oxygen therapy, and ventilator support

• Experience with complex manual handling, personal care, and pressure area care

• Familiarity with seizure recognition and administration of rescue medication (e.g., Midazolam)

• Ability to work within a structured care plan and follow strict health monitoring routines

• A valid UK driving licence is required

• Must have the right to work in the UK we do not offer sponsorship

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a 2:1 team

• Empathetic, calm, and dedicated to providing person-centred care in a palliative context
