Business Development Manager\\n Swindon and Surrounding Territory\\n £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, plus company car (VW Golf)  OTE £55,000\\n Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00\\n \\n My client is a leading and well-established provider of waste management and resource solutions. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager. With operations across the UK, this position presents an excellent opportunity for a field-based sales professional to develop a rewarding and long-term career.\\n \\n The role:\\n \\n Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a defined geographical territory within the Swindon area.

The primary focus of the role is to generate new business by promoting the companies comprehensive portfolio of waste services to both prospective and existing clients. \\n The successful applicant will benefit from dedicated appointment-setting support, but must also demonstrate confidence and initiative in prospecting, including through cold calling and door-to-door canvassing.\\n \\n The role:\\n\\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory\\nAttend pre-arranged appointments and self-generated meetings to present service offerings\\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of service delivery\\nNegotiate pricing and service agreements with decision-makers\\nManage your own schedule and work autonomously within the field\\nAccurately calculate costs and prepare tailored proposals for customers\\nMaintain up-to-date records and utilise Microsoft Excel to track activity and performanceThe candidate:\\n\\nHave recent experience in B2B field sales, preferably within a service-led environment\\nDemonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills\\nBe self-motivated, well-organised, and capable of managing own workload and diary\\nBe confident in face-to-face interactions, including unsolicited approaches to potential customers\\nPossess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel\\nExhibit a professional, consultative approach to selling and customer relationship managementIn return:\\n\\nBasic salary of £30,000 to £35,000\\nCompany car, (VW Golf)\\nRealistic on-target earnings of £55,000 or more\\nFuel card\\nLaptop and mobile phone provided\\nCompany pension scheme\\n20 days of annual leave, in addition to bank holidays\\n Interested, please click ‘apply’ today
