Service Engineer – £35,000-£40,000 – Metrology Equipment – UK Wide Service Engineer / Calibration Engineer required to join a measurement specialist to provide technical support and on-site service, calibration, installation and commissioning of metrology equipment, including CMM\’s, height gauges and vision systems. The ideal candidate will be local to the Milton Keynes area and will be flexible with travel. The Package: Salary – £35,000-£40,000 Company Car for personal and professional use (Estate or SUV hybrid) 25 days holiday + bank holidays Private medical Pension 7.5% employer contribution Flexible working – time off for extra hours worked The Role: Provide on-site Service, Calibration, installation and commissioning of equipment Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs. Perform in-house calibrations and repairs when necessary. Provide high level support to external customers at their location. Provide on-site training to customers. Interface with cross functional work teams such as applications, customer support/services/sales and marketing. Required Skills: HNC / Apprenticeship would be an advantage. Experience in the service and calibration of measuring equipment e.g. CMM\’s, Shadow graphs, height gauges and vision systems. Can demonstrate ability to work flexible hours including spending considerable time away from home.
