Based at Wigan Distribution Centre, Ashton-in-Makerfield
Are you ready to take the next big step in your Transport / Distribution career? At Poundland & Dealz, we're looking for professional, reliable, and motivated HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our busy and expanding team at our Wigan Distribution Centre.
Reporting directly to the Transport Shift Manager / Team Manager, this is your chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your contributions truly matter. Were seeking drivers who are committed to excellence.
Great Rate and Opportunities
Rotating 6-week rolling shift pattern
Minimum 40 hours per week (with a paid 45-minute break daily)
Basic hourly rate of £15.66
Weekend Premium: £2.20 per hour
Night Hours Premium: £1.00 per hour
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x your basic hourly rate

- Hold a valid Class 1 licence and CPC card.
- Always ensure full legal compliance, including carrying all three driver cards and adhering to Drivers Hours and WTD regulations.
- complete pre- and post-operation vehicle checks, report defects immediately, and maintain accurate, up-to-date tachograph records.
- Carry out store deliveries professionally, ensuring correct paperwork and prompt reporting of incidents to the traffic desk.
