Our client based in Bowburn, Durham provides support for various needs including mental health, substance use, domestic abuse, supported housing and employment or training. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Repairs & Maintenance Administrator to join their team as soon as possible! The role will be a temporary contract, lasting until January 2026 initially. This is a full-time position working 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £14.50 per hour. The purpose of the role is to provide the coordination and administration of the day-to-day repairs, maintenance and compliance. Duties of the role will include:- Identify reported repair issues through consultation with the customer Allocate and schedule repairs within agreed timescales Ensure all periodic testing such as gas safety, electrical inspection, fire alarm, emergency lighting and other maintenance is completed Provide day to day coordination of the internal Repairs & Maintenance Operatives Be the first point of contact for Repairs & Maintenance Service for customers, support workers, housing staff and contractors Monitor and update the internal system/database ensuring all information is accurate and recorded in a timely manner Support to source and administer new external contractors in new and existing areas, obtain quotes and seek manager approval in regards to budgets Undertake property/void inspections and annual condition surveys when required In order to be considered for the role it is essential that you have the following:- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook Experience of working within housing repairs, maintenance and compliance Experience of providing excellent customer service and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of staff and customers Please apply online in the first instance, send your CV to or call Barker Ross Lincoln on 01522 551910 today!
