Our established and busy Planning team has an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and ambitious Planning Associate to join their team to work on a broad range of planning projects across the Thames Valley, including a wide range of residential, mixed use, retail, strategic land and commercial proposals, of various types and scales, including exciting regeneration and place making opportunities. Our clients include house builders, landowners, education institutions, land promotion companies, public sector clients including the NHS and Homes England and more!

About you

Your role will include:

  • Work as part of a team on the promotion of large scale residential, mixed use and commercial developments (both Brownfield and Greenfield) through the Local Plan process;

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams and project management

  • Conduct research and site appraisals on projects for our client base;

  • Lead on major applications (Outline, Full and Reserved Matters)

  • Lodging appeals and potentially appearing at Informal Hearings.

  • Draft representations to Local Plans and Supplementary Planning Documents;

  • Contribute to business development activity, building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Further raising the team profile across the Thames Valley region as well as with our national clients.
