We are proud to be partnering with one of the UK’s longest-established private mechanical, electrical and instrumentation companies as they embark on a major project at the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station near Bridgwater, Somerset.

With decades of experience delivering complex work in highly regulated industries — including nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, utilities, and oil & gas — our client has recently secured a key contract on the Turbine Hall at Hinkley Point C.

As their trusted recruitment partner, we are now supporting them in sourcing skilled professionals to join this high-profile project. This is a great opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure developments.

Job Details

What Our Client Offers:

  • The project will run for a minimum of 2 years with a potential of this extending to 4 years
  • The hours of work will be 10 hours per day operating on a shift pattern of 10-4
  • This shift pattern will start on the Tuesday of the first week and finish on the Thursday of the second week
  • 2025 lodging allowance is paid at £50.81 per day
  • Employees receiving accommodation allowance will be granted twelve weekend home visits each year.
  • Training and upskilling opportunities

Requirements:

  • ACE Card (or equivalent acceptable evidence of competence JIB/ECS Card
  • Experience on large industrial/construction sites
  • Safety-first mindset
  • Nuclear clearance or willingness to undergo the necessary vetting approx. 8 weeks turnaround
  • Previous experience on nuclear or power generation sites a plus
