REMOTE WITH TRAVEL AROUND THE MIDLANDS
We are seeking a qualified assessor/tutor or an industry-qualified engineer to support apprenticeships in the Midlands. The role involves traveling nationally to deliver high-quality assessment and support at Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Apprenticeship Standards.
Main Duties:
- Support and assess apprentices using a blended learning approach, overseeing their development throughout training.
- Provide guidance and support to learners.
- Collaborate effectively within the engineering team and other departments.
- Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining registers, schemes of work, assessments, and reports.
- Ensure safe working practices are observed by all.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by management.
- Assist in recruiting learners, including interviews and enrollments.
- Develop curriculum support materials.
- Organize and monitor work experience placements and liaise with industry partners.
- Uphold principles of equality and diversity.
- Maintain plant and machinery where applicable.
Additional Duties:
- Undertake additional tasks as required.
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies.
- Promote equality and diversity, acting as a role model.
- Obtain First Aider qualification.
