Job Description

Resourced Provision Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Leeds

At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Leeds and we’re now looking to increase our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants we can offer to these great schools. We have a variety of support positions available, to start immediately. This would be to work in a resourced provision which is based at a mainstream primary school. The children will be a mixture of KS1 and KS2 pupils and will have various different needs as it is more based on ability.

The students have the following learning needs

  • MLD
  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Behaviour issues

It is also advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning.

About the role:

  • Earn up to £500 per week
  • Full-time positions available
  • Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
  • 1:1 support for special needs and lower-ability pupils
  • Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
  • Supporting students with challenging behaviour
