Job Description
Summary Venture Recruitment Partners are proud to be working with a well-established Manufacturing business on the outskirts of Salisbury in a brand-new Finance recruit.Our client is seeking a highly skilled, experience and proactive Management Accountant to play a key role in the finance team and business partner with the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and R&D departments. The Role
- Understanding and control of cost of sales and stock reporting for all UK operations, up to and including responsibility for Management accounts schedules & narrative
- Effective assistance in preparation and review of company budgets and forecasts
- Understanding and financial control of UK R&D activity, with emphasis on better project cost control for new product developments
- Build good formal & informal relationships with key manufacturing, supply chain & R&D staff
- Ability to pick up and successfully manage a number of assigned projects
- Successfully integrate into existing finance team, supporting improvement initiatives (including internal finance processes, ERP processes and data delivery to other Company users) with ability to develop into Finance team manager
- Take a lead role in the ERP implementation across all UK sites.
Skills and ExperienceThis is a great opportunity for someone with the desire to develop into a more senior finance role. You will be enthusiastic, keen to improve processes and have the ability to form good relationships with staff across all levels of the organisation.It would also be useful if you have the below:
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems
- Studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification or post qualification experience
