Job Description
We have exciting opportunities for Fire Engineers across Leeds.
You will provide specialist fire-related information for various projects across the built environment, demonstrating a sound understanding of legislation, relevant fire safety guidance, and codes of practice.
Requirements include:
- Leading small to medium projects as the Project Engineer, supported by the Project Manager
- Knowledge of fire design and engineering
- Experience in detailed technical/tender design, construction work packages, site visits during construction, and surveys of existing buildings
- Applying fire strategies and technical engineering reports
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in digital working tools and quality management
- Developing technical abilities and contributing to regional technical excellence
- Working on diverse projects across the UK and globally, involving various building types
- Applying fire design and assurance services during construction
Qualifications:
- An Engineering Council-accredited BEng Hons degree
- Associate Member of IFE
- Experience in developing fire engineering deliverables for UK or ROI projects
- Knowledge of legislation and design guidance relevant to the UK or ROI
