Mainframe Hardware Systems Programmer
Remote
£600 – £650, Inside IR35
Initial 6-month
We're recruiting on behalf of a Mainframe Services Provider who are looking for a Mainframe Hardware System Programme to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
As a Mainframe Hardware System Programmer, you will be responsible for:
- Support and maintain the UK Mainframe estate within a multi-site Sysplex environment.
- Upgrade the Mainframe estate to IBM Processor
- Building and activating IODF/IOCDS configurations in support of changes to the storage estate.
Proven skills and experience to help you succeed in this role:
- Previous experience working as a z/OS System Programmer
- Knowledge of the latest IBM processor generations
- Knowledge of z/OS and related technologies
