Job Description

WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a SOC Manager for a Public Sector client. The contract will be for 6-months initially however, there is the potential for a longer-term extension.

Our client is looking for candidates who can undertake the following:

  • The ability to lead and manage a team of cyber security analysts.
  • Lead incident detection, triage, escalation and resolution processes.
  • Be the escalation point for alerts and provide direction for improvements to monitoring systems.
  • Stay current with the latest cyber threats and attack techniques.
  • Experience operating and optimising cybersecurity tools like SIEM.

Please note, our client has deemed the role to fall inside of IR35 and candidates must either hold active SC Clearance or at least be eligible for SC clearance.
