About the Role As a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, you will play a key role in delivering safe, clinically sound, and effective care particularly in GLP-1 weight loss treatments. This role is critical to the ongoing development of digital pharmacy services. We are looking for a clinically experienced and motivated professional who is passionate about improving health outcomes and delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities * Lead the delivery of GLP-1 weight loss treatments, performing all necessary clinical assessments and checks. * Ensure full compliance with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards for online pharmacy services. * Prescribe independently across a range of treatments, ensuring care is tailored to individual patient needs. * Contribute to the growth and development of innovative, patient-centred services. * Conduct regular clinical audits to improve prescribing safety and effectiveness. * Participate in the development and refinement of policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Work collaboratively with pharmacy and clinical teams to promote effective communication and service delivery. * Manage escalated patient concerns and deliver high-quality resolution and service. * Act as Responsible Pharmacist when required. Requirements * GPhC-registered pharmacist with Independent Prescriber qualification. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmacy practice. * Proven expertise in prescribing GLP-1 medications for weight management. * Previous experience in an online pharmacy environment is preferred. * Deep understanding of clinical pathways, prescribing protocols, and best practices. * Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality care
