Outdoor Education Climbing Instructor

with The Perse School

The Perse School Outdoor Education department is seeking to appoint a Climbing Instructor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our active climbing instructor team. The postholder will primarily deliver sessions at our state-of-the-art climbing wall, the largest roped wall within 50 miles of Cambridge. Responsibilities include conducting taster sessions, corporate events, birthday parties, school physical education lessons, clubs, bespoke coaching, and National Indoor Climbing Association awards. The position provides comprehensive experience in a supportive environment, helping develop your skills.

The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of Outdoor Education at The Perse, including the Perse Exploration Society, games programmes, extra-curricular clubs, and climbing activities.

The work involves training, instruction, administration, and commercial activities, including school holiday programmes, trips, and weekend sessions, alongside term-time activities.

The Perse School Cambridge is a leading independent co-educational day school for children aged 3-18.
