Outdoor Education Climbing Instructor with The Perse School
The Perse School Outdoor Education department is looking to appoint a Climbing Instructor. The role provides an exciting opportunity to join our busy and active climbing instructor team. Much of the postholder’s delivery will be conducted in our state-of-the-art climbing wall, the largest roped wall within 50 miles of Cambridge. Instruction is varied with delivery of taster sessions, corporate events, birthday parties, structured school physical education lessons and clubs, bespoke coaching and National Indoor Climbing Association (scheme) awards. The position offers a comprehensive experience developing skills in a supportive and collegiate environment.
The post holder will have full involvement across the breadth of Outdoor Education provision at The Perse. They will work across the Perse Exploration Society’s provision, games programme delivery, extra-curricular clubs and climbing provision.
Work is divided between training, activity instruction, administration tasks and commercial delivery. This includes an exciting range of school holiday delivery, trips and weekend session instruction, alongside termtime programme delivery.
