Scope of the Role:
As a Warehouse Shift Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our global warehouse logistics during your assigned shift. You will lead, coach, and inspire a team of employees, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company policies and procedures. Your role is vital in maintaining a smooth workflow, meeting customer demands, and optimizing Mulberry’s logistics operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily logistics activities during your shift.
- Lead a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, providing clear instructions and guidance.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure stock availability for order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and customer service departments for seamless coordination.
- Develop and implement processes to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Resolve operational issues or conflicts, escalating when necessary.
- Train, develop, and mentor team members, providing ongoing coaching.
- Manage team fairly, ensuring adherence to HR policies, including appraisals, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Partner with recruitment and warehouse management to attract and retain a diverse team.
- Manage workforce attendance, holidays, staff scheduling, and shift management via Dayforce.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
