We are looking for an enthusiastic Emergency Department Flow Coordinator to join the ULCH Emergency Department Team!
We would like to hear from people who are passionate about working to a high standard in a busy, high pressure, and dynamic environment to maximise patient flow.

This is a permanent full-time role with working hours of hours a week. We are a 24-hour service, 365 days a year, and staff will be expected to work a shift pattern including night shifts.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the emergency department’s multidisciplinary team, the Flow Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the efficient movement of patients through the department, ensuring safe, timely, and effective care delivery. This role directly contributes to achieving the national 4-hour and 12-hour targets and improving patient experience by coordinating admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
The post holder will be expected to work independently, making decisions using their own initiative to help ensure the flow of patients coming into the emergency department.
