An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Family Nurse Partnership team in the Highlands.

FNP Highland covers Inverness, Badenoch and Strathspey as well as East/Mid Ross and Sutherland.

We currently have a vacancy for a Family Nurse working 0.6 WTE (22.2 hrs per week – fixed days). This post will be predominately covering Mid/East Ross and Sutherland and based at Osprey House in Alness. This is a home visiting service and therefore travel throughout the Highland area may be required to meet the needs of the clients. There will also be a requirement for the postholder to attend the Inverness office at Highland Council headquarters for individual and team learning.

The postholder will be a registered nurse or midwife with current NMC registration, a first level degree and post registration experience. There will be a commitment to the mandatory residential training events across Scotland within the first 18 months in post. This comes with an opportunity for SQA accreditation of a Diploma in Family Nursing
