Are you passionate about digital design and looking to make an impact on some of the UK’s most exciting building projects? Stantec is seeking a talented and motivated BIM Technician to join our dynamic Buildings team in London.
As a BIM Technician at Stantec, you\’ll work alongside a team of architects, engineers, and project managers on a wide variety of projects across sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, and residential. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of high-quality digital models and drawings using industry-leading tools and workflows.
Your role will include the following:
- Produce and manage accurate BIM models and technical drawings in line with project and client requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated designs and clash-free models.
- Support the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIM standards, technologies, and best practices (e.g. ISO 19650).
- Assist with model audits, coordination reviews, and data validation processes.
ABOUT YOU:
We\’re looking for someone with a passion for BIM and you will have the following:-
- Proven experience as a BIM Technician or similar role within the building design industry.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related tools.
- Solid understanding of building services coordination and model workflows.
- Familiarity with UK BIM standards and digital delivery requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- A relevant qualification in architecture, engineering, or construction-related discipline is desirable.
