Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a production journalist to join BBC Scotland’s award-winning TV news team. The core programs include Reporting Scotland and The News at Seven.

Reporting Scotland’s 18:30 program typically attracts the largest audience share on BBC One. Presenters Laura Miller and Laura Goodwin guide viewers through the day\’s top stories from across Scotland.

The News at Seven, launched on the BBC Scotland Channel in January, offers news in a conversational style, focusing on top stories and community issues, and celebrates Scottish culture and achievements.
