Exmouth, EX8

We have a fantastic opportunity to work as a behaviour mentor, playing a crucial role in supporting pupils who are struggling within a mainstream secondary setting.

The students have a split timetable in regular classes and also small groups. This is enabling them to get the best out of the school time and raise their attainment level. This is designed to engage the student, build resilience, and provide the foundation for rapid academic progress.

We are seeking to appoint multiple full time behaviour mentors to work across the secondary school.

To be a successful Behaviour Mentor, you will need:

  • To hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to get one
  • Be confident working within small groups and 1:1
  • Relevant experience working with children (or adults) with special educational needs
  • A passion for working with children and young people in SEN settings
  • Have a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle
  • Minimum of level 2 qualification or equivalent

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has experience working within a SEN setting and has a passion to develop this further. This role would also be perfect for someone with a healthcare/support worker/sports coach background.

There will be opportunities to progress onto a permanent position should you prove to be an excellent addition to the team.
