If you are a data-driven leader with experience across financial datasets, coding, and data visualisation, and you're excited by the opportunity to blend strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. As Quant Analytics Lead, you’ll lead our research analytics function – managing a team, overseeing data integrity, and building the tools that enhance our investment insight.
You’ll:
- Own and continually evolve our analytics and reporting capabilities to support the CIO and research teams.
- Lead the development of proprietary tools (e.g. X-Ray) and enhance our modelling capabilities using Python, R, SQL, NLP, and machine learning.
- Collaborate across data, infrastructure, and engineering teams to build scalable solutions.
- Guide the development of management reporting, investment KPIs, and external disclosures.
- Mentor a team of analysts, championing a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in data analytics or quant roles within financial services, asset or wealth management.
- Strong grasp of data infrastructure, modelling, and financial datasets (e.g. Morningstar, Bloomberg, Datastream).
- Proficiency in Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, and advanced Excel is highly desirable, as is coding in Python, R, and SQL.
- Understanding of ESG, performance, risk, and liquidity data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to senior stakeholders.
