Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervises and assumes responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Experience
- Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions according to accepted standards of care and department policies.
- Provides effective instruction to patients and families through standardized educational programs and individualized training.
- Develops and maintains collaborative interactions with team members, patients, and families to improve outcomes.
- Selects and performs appropriate assessment procedures.
- Establishes and updates formal care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Participates in at least 2-3 professional activities to promote clinical specialty and support Sentara\’s mission.
- Maintains productivity and efficiency in daily operations.
