To manage the Vodafone customer account within a specified area, maintaining and driving new business opportunities forward, creating future pipeline, and delivering incremental sales growth in line with sales targets and budget requirements.
- Be responsible for growing a specified area by driving sales targets in line with budget requirements and maximizing opportunities to develop new and existing business.
- Develop and implement a plan for the specified area to ensure a proactive, innovative, and engaging sales approach, fostering strategic conversations with customers, capturing their needs, and maximizing Ricoh’s growth.
- Proactively build positive relationships within the customer account aligned to the specific area to foster trust and long-term relationships that strengthen Ricoh’s position.
- Collaborate with Pre and Post sales teams to create a partnership approach.
- Promote all service and product lines sold by Ricoh in a structured manner, demonstrating Ricoh’s unique selling points and capabilities.
- Facilitate scheduled meetings with clients to review commercial, operational, and technical aspects of the account.
- Ensure all customer data, including EUSFA, is up to date.
You will ideally have
- A demonstrable track record of creating and winning professional services sales in the telco market.
- Experience in creating and winning reseller and systems integration solutions/sales in the telco network security space.
- Experience in building and winning work package delivery solutions and packaged resource solutions.
- Knowledge of network security technologies, ideally Cisco, Bluecoat, Fortinet, Juniper, Checkpoint, and others.
- Experience working with global telco operators or similar global enterprises.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Account Management/Sales role within the IT Solutions and Services marketplace.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and sales skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
- A minimum level of formal, structured sales training.
- Strong IT knowledge, including Enterprise Solutions.
- Good presentation skills.
- Proficiency in IT applications, typically Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Good business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
