To work within a small team of administrators, nurses, and Doctors based in Stevenage, supporting the Children Looked After (CLA) & Care Leavers Health Service in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) Children’s Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate administration of health assessments for CLA and Care Leavers, ensuring timely completion across various service providers.
  2. Serve as the point of contact for the CLA & Care Leavers Health Team, communicating effectively and accurately.
  3. Organize workload as directed by the Named Nurse and Senior CLA Coordinator.
  4. Maintain and update computerised and paper storage systems to meet service needs.
  5. Record all referrals accurately and ensure they are directed to the appropriate professionals within Hertfordshire and across the UK.
  6. Identify suitable professionals within other organizations for referrals.
  7. Manage mail and electronic communications, handling confidential information appropriately.
  8. Adhere to organisational policies and protocols.
  9. Participate in finance administration related to health assessments, including agreeing on payments within National Tariffs for out-of-county placements.
  10. Prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
