We are seeking an experienced Alliance Manager to join our dynamic team in our Contract Research Organization (CRO). As the Alliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic alliances with key partners and stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to foster strong relationships, drive collaboration, and maximize the value derived from strategic partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring the successful execution of alliance strategies in line with the company\’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and initiate strategic alliances with key partners, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and other relevant industry players.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive alliance strategies that align with the company\’s business goals and long-term vision.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with alliance partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all alliance-related activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, business development, and project management, to ensure the seamless integration and execution of alliance initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and address any potential challenges or conflicts that may arise during the course of the alliance, and implement effective solutions to ensure the continuity of collaborative efforts.
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of existing alliances to evaluate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates on alliance activities, progress, and key performance indicators to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company\’s alliance capabilities and expand the network of potential partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. A Master\’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in alliance management, business development, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic alliances, with a strong understanding of alliance best practices and industry standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of the drug development process and the regulatory environment within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, with the ability to generate insightful reports and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or a similar organization within the life sciences sector.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on ensuring the timely and successful delivery of alliance projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a strong emphasis on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
