Job Description Halliday Marx have partnered with an excellent professional services business to hire a Billings Supervisor on a permanent basis. Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 from home) Responsibilities – Supervise the billing team, including assigning tasks, training staff, and monitoring performance. – Oversee the accurate and timely generation of invoices and billing statements. – Develop and implement billing procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy. – Ensure compliance with company policies, contract terms, and regulatory requirements. – Handle escalated billing issues or disputes with internal departments and customers. – Ensuring new placements set up is accurate and in accordance with SOX requirements – Review and approve credit memos, adjustments, and write-offs. – Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and coordinate with collections staff as needed. – Prepare and present billing reports, metrics, and analyses to senior management. – Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. – Collaborate with IT and finance to improve or integrate billing systems and tools.
