Job Opportunity: Audit and Accounts Manager
We are a regional, award-winning Accountancy Practice in Stockport, experiencing growth due to an expanding client base. We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the partners and will be expected to:
- Lead audit assignments from planning to completion for clients across various sectors and sizes.
- Review corporate tax computations and control the production of client accounts.
- Participate in special projects for the corporate finance and tax teams.
- Manage a client portfolio, with clients typically having annual turnovers between £60m and £140m, with opportunities to work with clients up to £200m.
- Supervise a designated client portfolio and gain exposure to management and statutory accounts preparation.
Applicants must be ACA or ACCA qualified with strong accounting and auditing skills from a professional practice background.
