WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Warehouse Operations are critical to supporting our client AB InBev and their brewery in Magor. This role takes operational responsibility for all core elements of the warehouse operation across all three shifts (6-2, 2-10, 10-6) and acts as the link between the Warehouse Manager and Shift Management team, on behalf of the client (AB InBev).

The post holder will have direct management of the Shift Managers responsible for the 24-hour operation of the warehouse at Gwent Park, supporting the Warehouse Manager, and covering during holidays and absences.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous warehouse management experience
• Proven record of team management
• Experience dealing with customers daily
• Experience in the FMCG sector (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, spoken and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Methodical and structured problem-solving approach
• Approachable attitude and flexible work approach
• Proficiency in PC applications, including Word & Excel
• Knowledge of driver’s hours (beneficial but not essential)
• Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
• Client-facing experience during daily calls and interactions
• Alignment with production and delivery schedules, inbound and outbound
• Management of shift resources and focus
• Agile planning to adapt to production and schedule changes
• Oversee roles and responsibilities of shift managers
• Team development and process best practices
