Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a challenge where you can grow your role as well as yourself? This opportunity is to work with a high prospect technology company within the manufacturing industry, producing some exciting novel tech that has drawn a lot of attention and billions of pounds in funding. This opportunity comes with the expectation of developing into a management role as a wave of unprecedented growth has occurred, and an opportunity for the right maintenance engineer to develop alongside the company. As well as working with Novel tech, you will be working with state-of-the-art machinery that will be yours to learn and develop your own ppm.
This role would very much be your own with the major focus being PPM. This role offers a nice variety to the workload as the maintenance scope will cover anything mechanical on site that can help the opening of a new manufacturing facility go as smoothly as possible.
As a maintenance Engineer your main responsibilities, be as follows:
- Managing a schedule to stay on top of machinery inspection, servicing, and testing machinery.
- Be able to assemble, install and maintain Mechanical systems and equipment.
- Identify the cause for downtime and Develop a PPM system.
- Repair any broken machine on short notice.
- Reading, interpreting, and following instruction manuals.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience or be willing to gain the experience:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
- Powered industrial vehicle license
- Hand/arm vibration
- Compressed air
- COSHH
