We are looking for a ‘Material Controller – Repairs’ who will work within the Leonardo Luton Repairs Team in the Operations department. You will be responsible for ensuring customer returned assets are repaired on time. This will include arranging materials & labour to carry out the work, expediting it through the process & recording it all on SAP.
The role is based on the Luton site, however, once experience is gained there may be opportunities to carry out this role from home for up to 1 day per week.
What you’ll do as a Material Controller – Repairs
- Review, release and manage internal Service orders in line with requirements
- Scheduling of Service orders on SAP
- Implementation of FRB/MRB actions – Attend MRB\’s and ensure that dispositioned material is actioned accordingly (Failure & Material Review Boards)
- Delivery of kits to and from all Manufacturing and Engineering areas
- Arrange for failed Sri’s to be sent to vendor for repair and liaise with Procurement for updated estimated return dates
- Providing information on the status of repairs to integrated project team members
- Attend and contribute to daily Production reviews
- Key member of the IPT (Independent Project Team)
