The role
The firm is seeking to hire a Music Senior Associate Partner into their impressive and modern office based in the heart of the West End of London.
The Media department has been established for five years and since such time has grown to a team of four. The department deals with interesting work which includes, TV and music work. The majority of the work is on the talent side, however they do also get involved with smaller producers and independent record labels and producers. You will work alongside a Partner who has an outstanding name and reputation in the industry.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping strategy and planning for the department while actively mentoring and developing junior colleagues to help them reach their potential. The work is diverse and cutting-edge.
The work the department does includes sponsorship agreements, film financing, reputation management, endorsements and merchandising, contracts, licensing and breach of contract.
You should be an ambitious candidate that relishes in the challenge of being at the forefront of building and developing this construction department
Requirements
- You will be a Media / Music Solicitor with at least 6 years + PQE (there is no limit to the amount of experience)
- You will have a proven track record of building business and should be confident in your ability to introduce and expand on business opportunities
- Experience of mentoring junior colleagues is of advantage but not essential
- Salary will be market leading, depending on your background, plus an exceptional benefits package
