Overview
Background of department/role
Join our newly designed Student and Academic Services (SAS) Directorate at Canterbury Christ Church University and help deliver an outstanding experience for our students and staff. This role sits within the Academic Registry and focuses on supporting the University’s student record system (SITS), a critical component of our academic administration.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
An excellent opportunity to provide high-quality support for SITS, ensuring staff across the University have the tools and knowledge they need to deliver exceptional student services.
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and providing clear, accurate advice to staff. You will have strong organisational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will be educated to GCSE level (English and Maths A–C or equivalent) and have experience working within Higher Education. Experience with SITS is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable: Experience delivering training to end-users would be advantageous.

- Flexible and connected (Professional Services) – Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases, the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
