As a Supply Teacher, you’ll have the chance to work in a range of primary schools across Totnes, stepping in to deliver engaging lessons and support students in different classrooms. Each day offers something new, and you’ll have the flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis that fits your schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead exciting lessons across various subjects in different schools.
  • Follow pre-set lesson plans and adapt to each class’s needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment wherever you go.
  • Ensure students’ safety and well-being in every setting.
  • Manage classroom behavior in a calm and constructive manner.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in KS1, KS2, or EYFS is a bonus.
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
  • A positive, flexible, and professional approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
