Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
This apprenticeship will equip the successful candidate with the skills and knowledge required to become a Parts Advisor in our busy parts departments.
Alongside structured training provided by the manufacturer, you will undertake substantial on-the-job training, applying your learning in line with manufacturer requirements.
While training, the successful candidate will support the parts team by:
- Controlling the secure issue of stores to customers and ensuring accurate recording of issued items.
- Handling customer inquiries swiftly, courteously, and efficiently.
- Recording all items supplied to customers.
- Keeping the parts storage area clean, tidy, and safe.
- Participating in van sales delivery operations when required.
- Inspecting parts on receipt for damage, verifying quantities against delivery notes, and storing them appropriately, noting shelf life items if applicable.
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Relevant Experience & Qualifications Required
- GCSEs grade C or above in English, Maths, and Science
- Ability to comply with all company and manufacturer’s disciplines and procedures
