Head of FinanceLocation: SuffolkSalary: Competitive Salary and Benefits PackageI am delighted to working exclusively with a dynamic business seeking to recruit a commercially focused Head of Operational Finance to join its executive leadership team.This exciting role offers an exceptional opportunity for a strategic finance professional to take ownership of finance and systems development working closely with the Board.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Provide commercial insight to support strategic decisions and business growth
  • Oversee the development and integration of scalable finance and ERP systems
  • Drive business performance through high-quality financial information and KPIs
  • Manage internal teams and external finance providers to ensure timely and accurate output
  • Champion innovation and process improvement in finance and ICT
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Board and senior stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in an SME environment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow ownership
  • Systems-focused mindset – experience with Sage, SAP, or similar finance tools
  • Hands-on and entrepreneurial approach with a commercial edge
  • M&A and systems implementation experience preferred
