Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to produce customers’ orders on time by strictly adhering to the production schedule
- Follow work instructions and Company / Customer expectations in terms of documentation and quality requirements
- Carry out and record the daily / weekly / monthly maintenance checks
- Carry out and record the necessary safety checks
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts
- Ensure that the labelling system is adhered to
Work Area Maintenance
- Keep your working area tidy and free from clutter at all times
- Maintain the “clean as you go” policy
- Ensure parts flow to the next process with correct labelling procedures
- Follow and sign off “Route Cards” after each operation
Compliance and Policies
- Know and comply with all Health and Safety Legislation
- Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
- Ensure awareness and compliance with all Company Rules
Knowledge and Skills
- Welding / Fabrication Experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and additional MTL requirements
- Understanding of Company quality procedures and customer requirements
- Ability to work effectively and use own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and diligent attitude
Hours of Work
3 rotating shifts: Days 6am – 2pm, Afternoons 2pm – 10pm, Nights 10pm – 6am
