Gemini People are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Leicester for a Skilled Fabricator with proven experience in MIG welding. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing fabrication workshop with long-term potential.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of metal fabrication tasks. You will be working with various types of metal and using MIG welding techniques to produce high-quality fabricated parts to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding to a high standard

  • Fabricate metal components from technical drawings and work instructions

  • Operate workshop equipment and hand tools safely and effectively

  • Measure and cut materials accurately

  • Inspect and test completed fabrications to ensure they meet quality standards

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar fabrication role

  • Proficient in MIG welding

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Experience working with a variety of metals (mild steel, stainless, etc.)

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
