Gemini People are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Leicester for a Skilled Fabricator with proven experience in MIG welding. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing fabrication workshop with long-term potential.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of metal fabrication tasks. You will be working with various types of metal and using MIG welding techniques to produce high-quality fabricated parts to specification.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding to a high standard

Fabricate metal components from technical drawings and work instructions

Operate workshop equipment and hand tools safely and effectively

Measure and cut materials accurately

Inspect and test completed fabrications to ensure they meet quality standards

Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar fabrication role

Proficient in MIG welding

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience working with a variety of metals (mild steel, stainless, etc.)

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
