About the Role: We are recruiting a Stock & System Manager, at our Distribution Centre in Daresbury, Runcorn, reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the integrity of the stock holding within the warehouse. You will be required to be dynamic and detailed with a change embracing attitude to support the evolving business of the customer, working in line with our Wincanton values. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (dependent on operational needs) How will you contribute? Identifying trends adversely affecting the control of stock and its impact on our customers focus values. Creating appropriate solutions and recommendations to overcome these issues. Completing control checks within all areas of the Distribution Centre to verify operational performance and to identify / minimise risk areas of the business. Providing the Site management team with support, solutions, and individual training where required. Dealing directly with the customer to substantiate and resolve stockholding, documentation, and supplier payment issues. Compiling and circulating weekly and period reports detailing results and audits conducted. Meeting and exceeding operational KPI\’s. Motivating and leading a team of Stock Team Managers. Learning and development of your team to ensure that a knowledge sharing culture is created and is ongoing. Ability to articulate stock reports and issues and solutions to senior managers and customer within the contract. What will you bring? Have previous experience in a distribution warehouse environment. Proactive and self-starting individual. PC literate with advanced Excel skills and medium to high Word and Access skills. Have knowledge of Distribution Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) systems, e.g; Matflo Have a high standard of communication; oral, written and presentational skills essential. Have the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritise their own workload, and adhere to specified deadlines. Have excellent team building, leadership and motivational skills. What do we offer?
