About The Role

Reading Intervention Instructor

Reporting to: All Through Reading Lead

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Location: Ark Victoria Academy, Talbot Way, Small Heath, Birmingham, B10 0HJ

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full time, 8:00am – 4:00pm daily, term-time only 

Salary: Ark Support Staff Grade 5, point 5 – 12 (£24,790 – £27,711 FTE per annum). Pro rata salary £22,211 – £24,829 per annum.

Closing Date: 23rd July 2025 at 11am.

  • Individuals with experience in delivering effective literacy interventions tailored to children’s individual needs
  • A passionate individual with high expectations of themselves and for the pupils they work with
  • Teaching Assistants who share our aspirations for pupils and will inspire, challenge and motivate them to achieve
