Therapy Services administration are looking to appoint a highly motivated person to work within a busy Dietitian Department for Gwynedd and Anglesey.
The post holder will be a member of the admin team, which provides both a clerical and telephone operator service, for the Dietitian Department and administration support to Therapy Services.
Therapy Services comprises of Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Orthotics, Speech and Language Therapy and Administration. Each area has it\’s own Head of Service who is accountable to the Area Director of Therapy Services.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate must be an effective communicator, have good interpersonal skills and work in a flexible and organised manner. He/she must have a good standard of education. The ability to multi-task is important.
An appointable candidate not successful for this full-time role may be held in reserve for a part-time role subject to approval.

- Good general education
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge/experience
- IT Qualifications or proven experience using Microsoft Office packages
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of Therapy Manager, WPAS, Hospital administration systems
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL or equivalent skills)
- Understanding of basic medical terminology

- Excellent Communication skills (written, verbal and telephone) in Welsh (minimum level 4) and English
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to concentrate on administrative duties in an unpredictable environment
