Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing primary, community, mental health, acute and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000.

Role Overview

Therapy Services Administration is looking to appoint a highly motivated person to work within a busy Dietitian Department for Gwynedd and Anglesey. The post holder will be a member of the admin team, which provides clerical and telephone operator service for the Dietitian Department and administrative support to Therapy Services. Therapy Services comprises of Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Orthotics, Speech and Language Therapy and Administration. Each area has its own Head of Service who is accountable to the Area Director of Therapy Services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support and telephone operator service for the Dietitian Department.
  • Administer support to Therapy Services across Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Orthotics, Speech and Language Therapy and Administration.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain good interpersonal skills.
  • Work flexibly and organise tasks in a flexible and organised manner.
  • Multi-task and manage competing priorities.

Qualifications

Must have a good standard of education. Ability to multi-task is important. The role requires an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills and a flexible, organised approach.
